Actor Manisha Koirala is among the top most stars of the 90s. She became a star overnight after her debut film Saudagar in 1991 with Dilip Kumar, Rajkumar, Vivek Mushran and others. Millions became fan of this beautiful girl from Nepal, though she completed her higher education in India. While she starred in several films, many of them were hits. filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s Bombay is still believed to be one of her best performances. However, she once told,” I was told to not sign up for the film Bombay where I have to play the role of a mother during my prime time in Bollywood. But I liked my role as well as the entire concept was fabulous, so I accepted the movie and rest is the history.”
