Superstar Aamir Khan joins hands with Lokesh Kanagraj for a big budget action Superhero and supernatural film whose Production to begin in 2026.
One of the finest stars of the Indian Film Industry, Aamir Khan is currently basking in the success of his production venture, ‘Laapataa Ladies’, directed by his ex-wife Kiran Rao featuring Ravi Kishan and others, as the movie has become India’s official entry for the 2025 Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.
According to a recent report, Aamir Khan is going to collaborate with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a big-budget entertainer. According to the media reports Aamir and Lokesh are in discussions for a blend of superhero+supernatural+action oriented film. The report also suggests that they have been meeting frequently over the past few months to explore potential collaboration ideas. A superhero film has piqued both of their interests, and Lokesh is currently working with his writing team to develop the screenplay as the concept has been finalized already.
The first draft is ready, Story of the film has been developed and now the team is developing the screenplay.
The screenplay will be presented to Aamir for further inputs by Khan himself.
Aamir Khan is currently busy working on ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ and may begin a film with Rajkumar Santoshi, Zoya Akhtar, or Avinash Arun in 2025.
Lokesh is filming the Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Coolie’ and will follow it up with ‘Kaithi 2’ in 2025. If Aamir approves the superhero film’s screenplay, production could begin in 2026. The story till now looks interesting and development of the screenplay sounds super cool frenzy and Lokesh is excited about collaborating with Aamir Khan as Aamir Khan is known for his content oriented commercial successful films.
There are strong buzz that the film may have a beautiful heroine from the southern film industry and a villain from Bollywood. Nayanthara and Sanjay Dutt are on the top of the list for the above mentioned roles.
The source further stated that Aamir Khan will also have a cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Coolie’ alongside Rajinikanth. The cameo was finalized during discussions about the superhero film, with Aamir enthusiastically agreeing. Lokesh has crafted a special, high-energy sequence featuring Aamir in a unique avatar, marking a reunion between Aamir and Rajinikanth.
Aamir Khan is in discussions with Allu Aravind about ‘Ghajini 2’, believing the concept has great potential for a franchise. He has urged Allu, Madhu Mantena, and their team to develop a compelling storyline for the sequel. If everything goes well accordingly, Aamir could make history by starring in a follow-up to the first Indian film to gross over Rs 100 crore with an expectation of 1000 cr earner.
Aamir Khan do not believe in over endorsement of his films and fake data presentation, he search new ideas of promotions and furnishing actual data of the box-office earnings.
