According to a reliable source, after the disastrous Selfie the film that hit the screens will be The Great Indian Rescue. The makers are pretty sure that The Great Indian Rescue will give back Akshay Kumar his lost stardom. The film is based on an amazing real rescue mission.
The Great Indian Rescue is all set to release in cinemas this year. Trade sources say that this might be Akshay Kumar’s next release after Selfiee.
The Great Indian Rescue is based on former additional chief mining engineer, the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who saved the lives of 65 people trapped in a flooded coal mine in Raniganj of West Bengal, in 1989. The film was shot last year in Yorkshire. Akshay Kumar is seen in a turbaned look in this film and the first look of his character succeeded in grabbing attentions of the Filmlovers.
