Rakhi Sawant arrested and released
Dancer, actor, reality shows contestant Rakhi Sawant was arrested and released today. after Sherlyn Chopra (actor) filed a complaint against the actress for using objectionable language. She even took to her Twitter handle to share about the arrest.

Sawant was arrested by Amboli Police Station on Thursday ( 19/1/23) after

filed a complaint against her for use of objectionable language. After an entire day of investigation, a source shared that she was most likely to be produced in front of the magistrate but the actress was bailed and her arrest has been kept on hold on humanitarian grounds. The actress left the police station with her husband

updated, “Rakhi Sawant has produced a medical certificate of her mother which shows she is in critical condition, based on this and on humanitarian grounds

and her lawyer are not pressing for her arrest as of now.”

Yet another source shared, “Amboli police allowed actress Rakhi Sawant to go home. Police say that Rakhi cooperated in the interrogation and has also handed over her mobile phone to us for investigation, so there is no concrete reason to arrest her.”
Rakhi Sawant’s anticipatory bail was rejected yesterday at
Dindoshi Court
. Rakhi was supposed to inaugurate her dance academy with her husband

today (January 19) at 3 pm.
