In a historic performance on Wednesday, pace sensation Mohammed Shami etched his name in the annals of 50-over World Cup history, delivering the best-ever bowling figures by an Indian bowler in the tournament.
Shami’s extraordinary seven-wicket haul stole the limelight as India secured a convincing 70-run victory over New Zealand in the World Cup semifinal at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
After watching the semi final of the World Cup, media and people started pronouncing ” Shamifinal” instead of Semifinal.
Senior Journalist Sharad Rai said, ” Hats off to Mohammed Shami, he is a magician, he is a great cricketer.”

Sharad Rai continued, ” Mohammed Shami was blamed for not playing good against Pakistan in the Previous World Cup, Team India lost the match against Pakistan, Hundreds of messages were left on Shami’s Instagram account saying he was a “traitor” and should be thrown out of the Indian team. Shami became the main target after the defeat in Dubai, even though the then India captain Virat Kohli acknowledged that his side had been “outplayed”.

The famous Journalist Sharad Rai continued, “In 2018, the fast bowler’s estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, accused him of multiple extramarital affairs and domestic abuse. Although Shami denied the charges, he had to face the wrath. He lost his central contract with team India as an FIR under several sections was registered against him.
