Even considering that it was the last day of Ramzan, the dull first day’s collections of this week’s new release, KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN, sent shock waves in the industry. The Salman starrer likely collected only Rs. 12 crore on the opening day. Collections today (22nd April) have shown a huge spike owing to Eid holiday and they are expected to be phenomenal tomorrow too because of the festival mood.

Pinky Beauty Parlour was anything but beautiful at the box-office in its first week.

Chhipkali turned out to be scary in 1st week as collections were disastrous.

Sir Madam Sarpanch failed miserably in 1st week all over.

Bicycle Days recorded dull collections in its first week.

Shaakuntalam (dubbed) proved a debacle in 1st week all over. Neither the 3D effects nor the grand sets could attract the public to the cinemas. The first day closed at Rs. 32 lakh only. Collections on Saturday reduced because of poor public reports. The day closed at Rs. 29 lakh. The Sunday total was Rs. 32 lakh. After a weekend total of Rs. 93 lakh, the already dull collections slumped further as follows: Monday – Rs. 10 lakh, Tuesday – Rs. 9 lakh, Wednesday – Rs. 8 lakh, Thursday – Rs. 7 lakh. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 35 lakh. Therefore, the first week closed at just Rs. 1.28 crore.
Das Ki Dhamki (dubbed) faced rejection in the first week.

The Pope’s Exorcist (dubbed and the original English versions) started its 2nd week with a take of Rs. 0.79 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 1.12 crore. The total for Sunday was Rs. 1.11 crore. After a second weekend total of Rs. 3.02 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.38 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.37 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.36 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.32 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 1.43 crore. Total for 2nd week: Rs. 4.45 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 11.45 crore.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie (animation, dubbed and the original English versions) dropped markedly in 2nd week. The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 0.65 crore. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 0.87 crore, and further to Rs. 1.10 crore on Sunday. Therefore, the second weekend closed at Rs. 2.62 crore. Collections for the weekdays were quite low: Monday – Rs. 18 lakh, Tuesday – Rs. 21 lakh, Wednesday – Rs. 20 lakh, Thursday – Rs. 21 lakh. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 80 lakh. Hence the total for 2nd week was Rs. 3.42 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 8.49 crore.
Bholaa netted around Rs. 5.50 crore in the third weekend, and another Rs. 3.40 crore during the weekdays. In this way, its total for 3rd week was Rs. 8.90 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 77.10 crore.
John Wick: Chapter 4 (dubbed and the original English versions) collected Rs. 1.55 crore in the fourth weekend, and another Rs. 0.64 crore during the weekdays. Therefore, the total for 4th week and Rs. 2.19 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 47.62 crore.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is on its last lap. It netted Rs. 1.70 crore in its sixth weekend, and another Rs. 0.95 crore during the weekdays. Total for 6th week: Rs. 2.65 crore. Grand total for 6 weeks: Rs. 134.18 crore.
School College Ani Life (Marathi) fared poorly in 1st week all over Maharashtra.

Urmi (Marathi) performed badly in 1st week in entire Maharashtra.

Sarja (Marathi) failed to create any impact in its first week in Maharashtra.

Jaitar (Marathi) proved to be a flop show in 1st week all over Maharashtra.

Jugadya (Marathi) fared miserably in the first week in all the five stations of Maharashtra, where it was released.

Ghar Banduk Biryani (Marathi) dropped in 2nd week all over Maharashtra but still managed fair collections.
