Zwigato Tax free in Odisha

Directed by Nandita Das and starred by Kapil sharma and Shahana Goswami, Zwigato is a movie categorised as a film of Parallel Cinema previously labelled as an Art Film or an Offbeat film.Film didn’t do well in it’s initial days and many theatres stopped it’s screening. But with all the negative informations there is a good news for the makers. Taking to Twitter, the Odisha government had waived off the entertainment tax for Zwigato, as the movie is based on the struggles and life of a food delivery executive and his family. Zwigato is being appreciated for it’s subject, the film is being lauded for it’s social cause.
Directed by Nandita Das, the Hindi language film was entirely shot in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. With this tax-free move, the state government wants to promote Odisha as a prominent destination for shooting future movies.
