Only two days are left to the release of Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar so it’s obvious that the star of the movie Ranbir Singh is in headlines. The team of TJMM isn’t leaving any stone unturned in the promotion of their film, Ranbir Kapoor is roaming all over the country to promote his upcoming film TJMM. When journalists asks actors, ” Are you under box office pressure as your film is releasing ?” they often reply, ” My job as an actor is done and now rest is upto the audience and the directors, producers.” Bollywood Reporter /www.bollywoodreporters.com asked Ranbir, ” What do you feel about actors not taking the onus of flops ?” Ranbir replied, “I think actors get a lot of credit for the success of a film so it is only fair that they get the hit backs of the failure, it is their choice at the end of it because I can’t deny my responsibilities by saying I have done justice to my character and for the rest I am least responsible. I also believe as a person working in the films that it is all about the films – If the film is good everything is good and if the film is bad everything is bad.”
After a pause he spoke, “But yes, in my career, when I was working on Bombay Velvet , I thought it is my best performance, and I have been acting so well, it is fabulous, but the film did not work, then performance does not stand out either. You are as good as your film. If actors have this understanding, they will have lesser of an ego and they will work towards the story of the film.”
On a lighter not I asked him, ” How’s your baby doing ?”
Ranbir smiled and said, ” Raha is doing good, I miss heaven when I am out of town. I am a caring father, I have become expert in patting her back gently, I often change dypers”
