Versatile actor and a nice human being Anupam Kher praised Deepika Padukone for being one of the presenters at the Oscars, Anupam Kher took to his social media handles and shared an old photograph of one of the top most actresses of the Indian Film Industry Deepika Padukone from her early days at the Anupam’s acting institute, he penned, “Dearest @deepikapadukone! Congratulations on being one of the presenters at this year’s Oscar ceremony ! Every time you climb one step higher on the ladder of success, we at @actorprepares feel proud to have been part of your journey. On a personal note as your teacher I always knew sky is not the limit. You will go beyond !! Love and blessings always ! Congratulations for Pathan too ! Jai Ho !”

Like Anupam Kher Kashmir File fame Director Vivek Agnihotri has also praised and lauded Deepika on his social media handles for being the presenter at the Oscars, but he was trolled by many of the netizens as Vivek earlier had written against the Besharm song from the movie Pathaan. Netizens thought “Why this U turn?”
Vivek tried to clarify, he penned, “Well… in a new world ‘criticising someone when you disagree and appreciating when you like their act’ is called double standard. I thought it’s called ‘fairness’.
