What a shame for Akshay Kumar , Selfiee is amongst the biggest flops of the decade

Superstar Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Selfiee’ opened to shocking collections and with such a poor numbers, there was no chance of a comeback. Collections on Saturday improved a bit but it was far from satisfactory and then the very poor collections on Sunday has sealed the fate of the film.

Film collected poor 2.55 cr nett on Friday and 3.80 cr nett on Saturday with 40-45% jump. But then with flat Sunday took it to poor 10.30 cr nett weekend. Film dropped further on Monday by 50%!from Friday and collected 1.25 cr nett.

Film has collected 11.55 cr nett in 4- days and will struggle to cross 20 cr nett lifetime from here which is a shame for a film of this size. Although Akshay has tried to makeover all the mistakes to impress the citizens of the country, he started writing his social media posts in Hindi, he also announced that he has applied for the cancellation of his Canadian nationality,What he hasn’t done is selecting good films. Now, filmgoers want a great film from him. A question mark has been put in front of his star status as the disaster of Selfiee and his half a dozen flops recently has put his stardom in doubt.
Is he still a Star ? Or his stardom is just a PR ?
But Bollywood Reporter/www.bollywoodreporter.com still believe that the star will bounce back.
