When Shamita Shetty kissed lips to lips

Those were the days when Indian Film Industry wasn’t bold enough and lips to lips kisses were filmed very rarely, even film actors weren’t comfortable for such type of a scene.Talkng to a journalist, actress Shamita Shetty unveiled how her family reacted after watching her lips to lips kiss, she said, ” O my Ghosh, I can’t forget the reaction of my father as he stopped talking to me after I kissed my co-actor Uday Chopra in the film Mohabbatein,I recall that scary reactions of my family members, no one was happy, my father stopped speaking to me because of that one kiss. He was avoiding eye to eye contact and he didn’t speak to me for almost a month. I was so upset as the scene was the demand of the script and I was told to do that and like any other sincere and devoted professional I performed that shot, but he didn’t speak to me, I was so close to my father, infact we both were hurt.
But as the time passes by, all of this became so common in our industry. Finally, Dad understood, but since then I have never repeated that shot and I have become more cautious while shooting intimate scenes.”
