The Two Film Stars who presented the example of a true friendship and died on the same date

Do you know that late legendary stars and best friends Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan died on the same date April 27, eight years apart, is something that will stun you for a few seconds for sure. Not just this, the two Hindi film industry icons were almost of the same age at the time of their demise and suffered from the same disease — cancer.
Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan worked together in some huge hit movies like Shankar-Shambhu in 1976, Qurbani in 1980 and Dayavan in 1988. All the three movies were blockbusters and Qurbani even broke many previous records. The first film the two ever acted in was Shankar Shambu in 1976, where Feroz Khan essayed the role of Shankar and Vinod Khanna played Shambhu.
When Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan acted together in film Shankar Shambhu they were just friends but during the shooting they slowly and gradually became good friends and later they became best friends. At the shooting of Qurbaani there friendship was talk of the tinsel town as the Industry wasn’t known for friendship it was more famous for cut-throat competitions but these two actors of the same era presented an example of true friendship. Feroz Khan and Vinod Khanna received applauds for their camaraderie and finest performances in all the films they acted together. The pair received love from the audience and due to these films, the real-life bonding too became much stronger between the two. After giving successful movies together they were offered more films together but Feroz Khan wasn’t interested to do outside movies and was busy in his own production house ie F.K International and Vinod Khanna became spritual. At the peak of his career he left the Industry and joined the Ashram of Osho.
It was Feroz Khan who brought Vinod Khanna back to the Film Industry.
