There are a few Diwali parties in the film industry which are looked forward to. Among them are the ones hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Ekta Kapoor and Ramesh Taurani. One can now add another name to the coveted list — Anand Pandit. The builder-producer-distributor-financier has become so popular in a short span of a few years that the attendance at his Diwali party last evening (22nd October) at his palatial home at Juhu in Bombay read like an industry who’s who.
Amitabh Bachchan, who avoids crowds after being hit by the Coronavirus thrice in the last two-and-a-half years, made an exception when he attended the Diwali bash hosted by close friend Pandit. Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Ajay Devgan, Hrithik Roshan, Shatrughan Sinha, Tusshar Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkumar Rao, Patralekha, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Sidharth Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, Nushrat Bharucha, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Jeetendra,
Rakesh Roshan, Abhimanyu Dassani, Kapil Sharma, Jaaved Jaffery, Meezan Jaafery, Anupam Kher, Raza Murad, Sharman Joshi, Manoj Joshi, Sunny Singh, Sonali Seygal, Shailesh Lodha, Ellie Avrram, Abbas-Mustan, David Dhawan, Rumi Jafri, Vaishal Shah, Ronit Bose Roy, Himesh Reshammiya, Aanand L. Rai, Luv Ranjan, Indra Kumar, Raaj Shandilya, Abhishek Pathak and Deepak Mukut were among those who were seen greeting one another and posing for photographs at easily one of the best-attended parties.
Anand Pandit, his wife, and producer Sandeep Singh played excellent hosts for the evening.
