Superstar of the Millennium Amitabh Bachchan ‘s grand daughter Navya Naveli Nanda appeared alongside him at an NDTV telethon where she spoke about sexual and reproductive health. Navya said, ” there’s still a long way to go before women in the country are given proper access to health and sanitation, but the fact that I am able to discuss these subjects with my grandfather is a sign of progress.”

She furthur said, ” the first step is to stop treating menstrual health, and mental health, like taboo topics. And to do this, people must be willing to discuss them with their friends, family, and peers.”
