T-Series Films, JA Entertainment and TVB Films’ Tara Vs Bilal (UA) is the story of two persons who enter into a fake matrimonial alliance but end up falling in love with one another. Tara (Sonia Rathee) comes to London for her honeymoon but her husband deserts her after making away with her jewellery and money. Bilal (Harshvardhan Rane), whose hotel Tara and her husband had checked into, throws Tara out as soon as he gets to know that she is broke. As she has no money, Tara takes up a job in a club. One day, she meets Bilal in the club. By the by, the two get friendly. Bilal requests her to support him in his ‘marriage game’ as his family is forcing him to settle down in life but he doesn’t want to get hitched. Tara agrees. So, he takes Tara home to his family and tells the family members that they would soon be getting married. He tells Tara to misbehave with the family members so that they themselves would ask him to call off the marriage. But that doesn’t happen. Tara and Bilal get married. Soon after the marriage which was never meant to be he packs her off to India, and informs his family about the fake marriage. What happens thereafter?
Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh’s story and screenplay are half-baked and, therefore, fail to appeal to the audience. There are innumerable guys/girls whose families pressurise them to get married but how many people would do what Tara and Bilal plan? In other words, Bilal’s plan to pretend that they are ready for marriage is so ridiculous that it just doesn’t make sense. What’s more, when he realises that he cannot wriggle out of the wedding plan, he actually gets married. The viewers are unable to understand why he cannot tell his family members upfront that he does not want to marry Tara. As it is, he does reveal to his family soon after his wedding that he had sent away his ‘bride’ back to India. If he could confess a day after the wedding, what prevented him from telling them before the marriage? Tara takes up a job in London because she has no money. Why she doesn’t think of returning to India by borrowing money is not explained. Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh’s dialogues are ordinary.
Harshvardhan Rane looks handsome and acts well in the role of Bilal. Sonia Rathee is so-so as Tara. Mona Ambegaonkar, Niki Walia, Shagufta Ali, Deepika Amin and the others are adequate.
Samar Iqbal’s direction is kiddish. Manan Bhardwaj’s music and lyrics are okay. Naz Choudhury’s choreography is fair. Background music (Japjisingh Valecha and Gaurav Godkhindi) does not add much to the drama. Amarjeet Singh’s cinematography is quite alright. Dipika Kalra’s editing is loose.
On the whole, Tara Vs Bilal is a disaster of a film. It is a non-starter and will go almost completely unnoticed.

One of the finest actors of the country Ajay Devgn is one of the most popular stars in the Indian film Industry, he has won numerous accolades, including four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. The superstar reportedly charged Rs 25 crore for his role as Chitragupt aka CG in the fantasy drama. Ajay Devgn owns a production house as well. Superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan’s latest release is Goodbye. He stars opposite Neena Gupta in the film which marked the Bollywood debut of actor Rashmika Mandanna. He also had a pivotal role in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer, Brahmastra Part One– Shiva.
He is now ready for the release of Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Sarika and Neena Gupta. It will release in theatres on November 11.
Amitabh also celebrated his 80th birthday, recently. He gave a surprise to his fans by stepping out at the gate of his house to greet his fans. The actor has promised to resume the practice of ‘Sunday darshan’ very soon. This comes a few months after he tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time.

There is 0 advance booking of the movie ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Thank God’ in Single screen theatres. This is the fate of several Bollywood movies, and this isn’t good. Distributors aren’t giving preference to single screens these days as they earn more from multiplexes, obviously. But this tactic is killing the single screens. Filmmakers can’t deny the truth though they earn more from the multiplexes but they get much more audience from single screens, audience of single screens are also fans, followers of the Indian film Industry, they give long term benefits to the Industry. At Maratha Mandir I have slotted two shows for each of the films, while I’ve dedicated Gaiety and Galaxy to ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Thank God’ respectively.”

Advance booking of ‘Ram Setu’ is better than ‘Thank God’. While both the films have scored very low in advance booking, ‘Ram Setu’ is expected to collect around Rs 1.50 crore nett in advance. ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Thank God’ are expected to score less than Rs 10 crore on it’s first day.
The trade on the whole is going through crisis, it’s really a matter of great concern.

Further, he claimed that ‘everything that is going on against Sukesh Chandrashekhar– is a political conspiracy. Thus, there is no point in dragging Jacqueline and her family into this case.’
He wrote. “It is very unfortunate that Jacqueline has been made accused in the PMLA case. As I have clearly said before, we were in a relationship and I have given her and her family gifts. What is their fault? She asked me nothing except love her and stand by her. Every single penny spent on her and her family was earned from a legitimate source of earnings and will be proven in the trial court very soon. So there is no point in dragging Jacqueline and her family into this case. In the near future, I will prove in court that Jacqueline and her family are being forcibly dragged into this case. It is not their fault as everything that is going on against me is a political conspiracy.”

She went on to establish herself as one of the leading actresses of Hindi cinema with films like; Waqt (1965), Anupama (1966), An Evening in Paris (1967), Aamne Saamne (1967), Satyakam (1969), Aradhana (1969), Safar (1970), Amar Prem (1972), Daag (1973), Avishkaar (1974), Mausam (1975), Chupke Chupke (1975), and Namkeen (1982). This was followed by a decade of intermittent film appearances including; Mira Nair’s Mississippi Masala (1991), Goutam Ghose’s Abar Aranye (2002), and the Hindi films; Aashik Awara (1993), Mann (1999), Viruddh… Family Comes First (2005), Eklavya: The Royal Guard (2006), and finally retiring from acting with her final film appearance Break Ke Baad (2010).

Mani Ratnam’s ‘ Ponniyin Selven 1” has proved many critics and their pre-views and reviews wrong. ‘ Ponniyin Selven 1’ box-office performance so far has been tremendous. The film has completed its theatrical 11 days and its likely to become the highest-grossing film from the Tamil industry globally. But ss of now, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram holds the top position. 11 days, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ has accumulated 222 crores nett and 261.96 crores gross in India. Reporting about the overseas box-office collection, ‘Ponniyin Selvel 1′ has collected 148 crores gross till now. The overall worldwide total collection is 409.96 crores gross.

Kamal Haasan’s Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil‘s :Vikram’ globally earned of 426 crores gross. Now we could say that ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1′ might become number one earner as it’s just 16 crores less from Kamal’s film and 17 crores less from crossing it to become the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2022.

Actor Dharmendra reacted to lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar’s statement that he was the first choice for the film, Zanjeer. said that it had been an ’emotional bounding for someone’ so he refused the film in the first place.

The very Successful and famous Writer, Lyricist, Poet #JavedAkhtar said that #Dharmendra, turned down the role, among other actors. In a talk with Ndtv and few other journalists. He said, “Amitabh Bachchan was actually the last choice for Zanjeer. The script was written for Dharmendra ji, but for some reason, he refused to work on it. Prakash Mehra (the director of the film) had a script, but no leading man. He went from actor to actor to offer the role. All of them refused the offer.”

It is said that Everybody including big stars of the era Devanand, Rajkumar, Sanjay Khan all of them refused to do the film. Javed Akhtar said, “Many actors had turned down the role as it had no ‘romance angle or comedy’ and that the lead actor was meant to be a serious person.”

Konidela Production Company ad Super Good Films’ Godfather (dubbed from the Telugu film of the same name; UA) is an action and family drama. The chief minister of the state has died and there’s tension brewing between the two factions of MLAs. The chief minister’s son-in-law, Jaidev (Satyadev Kancharana), wants to be the next chief minister but for that he needs more MLAs to support him. Those MLAs owe allegiance to Brahma (Chiranjeevi). Jaidev and his Man Friday, Narayana Varma (Murali Sharma), try every trick in the book to get the MLAs to support Jaidev but when they fail, they ask Jaidev’s wife, Sathyapriya (Nayanthara), to stake claim to the party chief’s chair. They expect Brahma to object but are taken aback when the latter supports Sathyapriya. Still, there’s a battle raging for the chief minister’s post. Brahma will not allow Jaidev to be the chief minister and vice versa.
Why does Brahma support Sathyapriya but not Jaidev? What is the back story of Brahma and Sathyapriya? Who ultimately wins the battle for the top post in the state?
The film is a remake of Malayalam film Lucifer. Mohan Raja has written the screenplay based on the original story by Lakshmi Bhupala and Murali Gopy. The film has a fast-paced screenplay but it also often moves on the predictable path. The back story of Brahma and Sathyapriya is interesting. Also interesting is the family drama. However, the political drama is clichéd. The suspense about Brahma comes as a shock but the culmination is a pleasant surprise. Overall, the drama does not give the Hindi film-going audience a high. Dialogues are good.
Chiranjeevi is stylish and delivers a fine performance as Brahma. He plays to the gallery. If his acting has class, his stunts and action scenes have thrill. Salman Khan, as Masoom Bhai, adds tremendous star value in a brief special appearance. He exudes charm and impresses with his action, stunts and acting. Nayanthara is excellent as Sathyapriya. She adds a lot of dignity to her character. Satyadev Kancharana stands out in the role of Jaidev. Puri Jagannadh performs ably in the role of Govardhan. Murali Sharma makes his presence felt as Narayana Varma. Tanya Ravichandran has her moments as Sathyapriya’s younger sister, Janhavi. Sayaji Shinde is natural. Samuthirakani makes his presence felt as the ACP. Prabhu Devaa in a dance number, and Warina Hussain in another dance number are very good. Sunil, Brahmaji, Shafi, Murali Mohan, Sarvadaman D. baby Ahana, Mark (as Lucas), Nawab Shah (as Abdul), Bharath Reddy (as Ram Kishore), Pawan Tej Konidela, Getup Srinu, Mirchi Priya, Pathan, Dheena, Gemini Suresh, Bunny Chandu, Dawood, Hari Krishnan, Rajan Hari, Naga Mahesh, Sai, Gandhi, Srinivas Rao, Chitti, Koteswara Rao, Dhill Ramesh, Meka Ramakrishna, and the others provide very good support.
Mohan Raja’s direction is good but he has not been able to offer the audience something fresh. S. Thaman’s music is fair. Song picturisations (by Prabhu Devaa, Sekhar VJ and Sandy) are eye-filling. Nirav Shah’s cinematography is extraordinary. Action and stunt scenes (Ram-Laxman and Stunt Silva) are thrilling but lack novelty. Suresh Selvarajan’s production designing and Kakileti’s (Bommidi) art direction are up to the mark. Editing (Marthand K. Venkatesh) is sharp. Dubbing is very good.
On the whole, Godfather is for single-screen cinemas mainly. Its business will be below average.
Released on 5-10-’22 at Inox (daily 3 shows) and other cinemas of Bombay thru PVR Pictures Ltd. Publicity: dull. Opening: so-so, thanks only to the Dassera holiday. …….Also released all over. Opening was good only at places.

In the promo video of KBC, released by Sony, Superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan is seen on the stage and the hooter sounds differently. Amitabh get confused as the hooter rang quite early, then Abhishek’s voiceover heard pronouncing-

“Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein qhayal aata hai,” Abhishek delivers Amitabh’s line from Kabhie Kabhie and then reveals his face and took entry on the stage. Amitabh get surprised to see him and gives him a tight hug. The moment becomes emotional, as both father and son get emotional. Amitabh is seen with tears in his eyes as Abhishek tries to calm him down.
Those who have seen the promo shall not miss the Father & Son episode of KBC, that’s for sure.

#AbhishekBachchan quit the shoot for the comedy show with harsh words, “I’m not a fool.” The production team were expecting a happy shoot day with the actor were left with a shock. Infact, a comedian named Paritosh Tripathi cracked a joke on Amitabh Bachchan, and it was a bit too much for Abhishek. Amid the shoot Abhishek asked the makers to stop shooting, leaving Riteish Deshmukh and Kusha Kapila completely shocked.
Abhishek did the right thing as there are many new actors who after doing one or two shows think themselves a star and they don’t follow the etiquettes of the shoot, they should be taught like this only. When the comedian crack the joke on Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, #AbhishekBachchan stopped the shoot and In a loud tone he further warned,
“It’s getting a bit too much. I’m all game for myself. I get it, but let’s not get to parents. ” Abhishek warned the comedian.
However comedian Paritosh Tripathi tries to calm Abhishek down by saying sorry, but
Abhishek wasn’t willing to hear him, Abhishek continued,
“You should respect elders, Comedy should have some limits.” Abhishek scolded the guy. As the Production team of Case Toh Banta Hai tried to normalise the situation by apologizing. But Abhishek simply gave them a lesson for their life time by walking out amid-shoot, leaving people stunned.

People have largely been disappointed due to the film’s not convincing VFX and the unrealistic look of various characters including Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. With a beard, fierce eyes and a buzz cut, Vikram Vedha actor’s Lankesh seems barbarism personified and many called out the filmmakers for the apparent Islamisation of Ravana.

Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi is filled with gratitude for Megastar of the Hindi Film Industry Salman Khan, who agreed to play a 20 minutes friendly appearance in his upcoming movie, ‘GodFather’. ‘God Father’ is remake of the film ‘Lucifer’. When requested for a friendly appearance by Chirnjeevi Salman agreed to appear in the movie without going through the script.

During MeToo movement in the country Sajid Khan was blamed by many women for misconduct and he became accused for sexualy harassing them. However he lost his creditability and was without work since long. Sajid Khan has got entry in the Bigg Boss 16 house. At the inaugural episode of the BB16, the former Filmmaker spoke to the host of the show Salman Khan and opened up about his debacle. Sajid told #salmankhan how he has been without work for the last four years. Several women had accused him of sexual misconduct. The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association banned him from directing films and Tv shows on the basis of the allegations.

On the premiere of Bigg Boss 16, Sajid said his credit on Housefull 4 was snatched despite him working hard on the movie. “Till the night, I was working on the film and in the morning I was out of the film. My credit on the film was taken away from me.” He confessed, ” while it is failure which destroys people, but in my case, success destroyed me. I became arrogant after becoming a successful filmmaker, I was severely punished by the industry, which I never thought of.”

Superstar of the Millennium Amitabh Bachchan ‘s grand daughter Navya Naveli Nanda appeared alongside him at an NDTV telethon where she spoke about sexual and reproductive health. Navya said, ” there’s still a long way to go before women in the country are given proper access to health and sanitation, but the fact that I am able to discuss these subjects with my grandfather is a sign of progress.”

I got opportunity to work as an executive producer as well.

Now by the grace of Lord Shri Ram ji I am on a right track, I have many projects which are under production, film lovers shall be able to watch them one by one. ”
